DIRECTOR, CREATIVE SERVICES
For over 30 years, Paul Black has been an prominent part of the national design community, and his work has been recognized nationally and internationally in award shows and periodicals, including Communication Arts, Logo Lounge Annuals and Master Library, Print Regional Design Annuals, New York Art Directors Club, AR100, AIGA Annuals, the Graphis International Annuals, Kit Hinrichs' A Decade Of Typographic Design, along with numerous independent design annuals. He has also won gold, silver and bronze awards from many local and regional shows including the DSVC and Houston Art Director shows. His work is also in the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. He has been a past board member and treasurer of AIGA Texas and has served on the board of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.
He has worked for some the nation's most respected design firms, including: Sibley/Peteet Design as design/studio director, Squires & Company as Vice President, Partner and Director of Creative Services, GameStop (Fortune 200) as Director of Creative Services where he redesigned the brand look, updated the customer in-store experience and developed several new experiential store concepts. And prior to joining Cisneros Design he was one of the Directors of Global Brand Identity & Design at AT&T (Fortune 10). There he was an integral part of the brand merger with DIRECTV and helped guide the design effort in AT&T's global rebranding. Today, Paul is the Creative Director at Cisneros Design, and helps guide and manage the creative direction for the firm's regional and national clients.
